Shipley Student Startups
S3 or the Cube is a business incubation program for Clarkson University's most promising student entrepreneurs. It provides these students with mentorship and resources that accelerate the development and growth of their companies.
The logo design effectively reflects the entrepreneurial spirit and structured approach of The Cube program. The cube shape symbolizes the program’s organized and multi-dimensional nature, while the use of the “S” letters connects directly to the program’s slogan and strengthens the brand’s identity.
The cube represents solidity, structure, and three-dimensionality, which align with the concepts of entrepreneurship and innovative thinking. The “S” letters on each face of the cube effectively visualize the program’s slogan, "Shipley Student Startups" (3S). Each “S” is prominently placed in the three-dimensional design of the cube, symbolizing different aspects of entrepreneurship (idea, execution, growth) and the development of students in these areas.
The alignment with the "Shipley Student Startups" slogan and the use of the cube’s three-dimensional structure add depth and meaning to the logo. The cube not only represents perfection and balance as a geometric shape but also evokes the concepts of pushing boundaries and reaching new dimensions. This aligns with the continuous learning and growth processes of student entrepreneurs.
The blue color typically represents reliability, wisdom, and stability, while the font in "The Cube" and the slogan is modern and legible. This reflects the program’s innovative and dynamic nature.
In this context, the logo strongly represents both the brand’s mission, the program’s purpose and values, and the supportive structure for student entrepreneurs.
